Book Review: No-Fad Diet by American Heart Association — 8 Comments

  1. Sounds like a good basic reference to have on hand. I like the sound of those charts and forms at the back. We love cabbage and this braised dish looks easy and pretty. It’d be great alongside a simple pork dish.

  2. This sounds like a great book that teaches the fundamentals of eating right. I suffer from heart disease myself so I can appreciate the importance of the message here. In the last year I joined Weight Watchers and lost 30 pounds and feel so much better than ‘before’. Great book!

  3. I’ve enjoyed all your reviews on nutrition-centered books. I have, in fact, checked out nearly all of them from my library. Just thought you’d like to know you are making at least one person take action. This book will follow that pattern. Looks like a common sense approach to nutrition.

  4. I guess I don’t expect a lot of personality from the American Heart Association, but it sounds like the book offers valuable tools and references. Well worth taking a look at…
