Book Review: Where Things Come Back — 4 Comments

  1. I haven’t read this book, I don’t think it’s a book that I would recommend to my kids to read. I may read it sometime in the future.

  2. I read that technology was the game changer in the search for the ivory billed woodpecker. We have recordings of a unique, loud, territorial call it makes, so battery powered recording devices were placed where sightings were reported. Sad results: lots of sounds of pileated woodpeckers, look similar, sound different. That was a pretty conclusive way to search for a bird that liked remote swampy thickets and fled movement.
