Bloggiesta, Wrap-Up
Today I did blog tasks for more than five hours for a Bloggiesta total of fifteen hours.
I installed the OpenBook Book Data plugin to fetch the illustration of book covers and some other information. But it runs too slow. I’ll have a faster site if I manually enter that information.
I managed to do several small graphical things — a favicon (the purple J next to my web address), a gravatar to show up when I make comments on other blogs, and a graphic signature, that should show up at the bottom of this entry.
My first Bloggiesta was a big success! I hear that this is a twice-a-year event. I’m looking forward doing this again in the summer.
Congrats! I had to refresh the blog link because when I first popped over here (from comment you made on my blog) the purple J wasnt’ there but IT IS NOW! 🙂
Wow! Impressive progressive…I’d like to learn how to do the signature…
Here’s my wrap-up:

I like all the little touches you’ve put together: the favicon, gravatar, and signature. They all pull the blog together really nicely. Congrats on a productive Bloggiesta!
Congrats on the Bloggiesta … That is A LOT of stuff accomplished. And isn’t that open-book plugin the best? Makes life SO much easier!!
